Description: This long axis view shows the
right ventricular outflow (red asterisk) wrapping around the left
ventricular outflow. The component of the free-standing subpulmonary
infundibulum adjacent to the aortic root (red dots) supports the leaflets of
the pulmonary valve, and is not a septal structure, an extensive tissue
plane (yellow arrow) separating the infundibular sleeve of muscle from the
aortic valvar sinuses.
