Modality: Anatomic specimen Orientation: Anterior-superior view Description: This anterior-superior view shows a low aorto-pulmonary window in this heart with a right aortic arch and mirror image branching of the great vessels. The window is quite large. This lesion can be differentiated from a common arterial trunk, because of the presence of two clearly separate semilunar (aortic (AoV) pulmonic (PV))valves. The left pulmonary artery (LPA) has a low take off from the pulmonary trunk.
