On a strong clinical and academic background, and with dual accreditation in general paediatrics and paediatric cardiology, Marina’s career has focussed on non-invasive cardiac imaging.
Having been the clinical lead for Echocardiography at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, a move to the UK gave the opportunity to train in Cardiac MRI. Marina was recruited to help establish the clinical Cardiac MRI service at Great Ormond Street Hospital, and was the Clinical Lead for that service for six years, until 2015.
Marina’s passion and special expertise is Cardiac MRI for adults and children with congenital and inherited heart disease.
