Description: This  view of this heart demonstrates nearly circumferential myocardial ischemia within the left ventricle (LV) and interventricular septum (IVS) with focal ischemic areas in the wall of the right ventricle. This was secondary to an occluded segment of the anterior interventricular artery.

Description: This view of the surface of the heart, shows the abnormal section of the occluded portion of the left anterior interventricular artery (AIVA). The segment of occluded vessel was beneath a muscle bridge that was approximately 1 cm in length and 0.4 cm deep. The constricted segment is delineated by the yellow arrows. (PT-pulmonary trunk).
